Camping Options for 2023
First off, Rocks Springs is a camping option. It is open for 4-H Members and non 4-H Members to attend. The age range is for current 2nd through 11th graders to attend as campers. Counselor and Leadership options are available for current Freshman to Juniors. More information is available at: https://www.rockspringsranch4hcamp.org/
NEW for 2023! Barber County will be camping with Meade, Clark, Comanche, Kiowa, Harper and Kingman Counties at Silver Maple Campgound in Kingman County. This camp will be June 13 - 15. This is available for 7-12 years olds, as of January 1, 2023. We are limited to taking 20 4-H Members. After 20 have signed up, we will start a waiting list. We will also need to take at least 2 counselors. Counselors must be 14 years old or older. Registrations should open in March, keep reading the 4-H News Updates for more details. Cost will be $125.
Day Camp Planning in the works! We do not have a date set yet, but the conversations have started. Look for Day Camp to be in early June again at Camp Mennoscah.
Just announced by the State 4-H Office, the 100th Anniversary of Discovery Days (Formerly called 4-H Round Up) will be June 7-9th on the KSU Campus in Manhattan.
