State Fair Entries Due August 10
Just as you put all of the Fair Exhibits away, it is time to enter for the State Fair. Each 4-H member or parent, needs to call the Extension Office (886-3971) or stop in to sign up for the State Fair, if you qualified.
You will need to know the number of years you have been in the project when you sign up. Because we must enter this online to meet the State Deadline, we need to know what you would like to take by August 10th.
The Barber County Fair does have classes that can not be sent on to the State Fair. If you earned a State Fair Blue in these classes, you will not be able to take it on. This is mostly posters, notebooks, hot and cold foods. You must also be 9 by January 1, 2021, to exhibit at the State Fair.
Congratulations to the following members for earning State Fair Blues in classes that are available at the State Fair. Exhibits will need to be to the Extension office by 5:00 P.M. September 7. Other than foods, items can be dropped off at anytime.
