Barber County 4-H Council November Minutes

Barber County 4-H Council Minutes

November 30, 2020

The meeting of the Barber County 4-H Council was called to order over Zoom by President Keaton Wiske on November 30 at 7pm.  Roll call was taken and there were five clubs present.  Secretary Rhyan Marshall then read the minutes from the previous meeting, which were approved as read.  Sterling Rector proceeded with the treasurer's report.

Old business began with comments on the achievement celebration video, which was much appreciated and enjoyed by many.  With no further discussion, President Keaton Wiske opened the house for new business.  Here we decided to delay the choice of changing to the new 4-H record sheets because of a lack of opinion.  Next, we discussed the details regarding 4-H Club Day.  We went ahead and set a tentative date for February 27, hoping that nothing changes.  Sterling Rector moved, Hudson Rector seconded it.  Motion passed.  We then set a start time of 9am and thought it would be best if families and clubs went at a set time to avoid a lot of contact.  Sterling Rector moved, Belle Burden seconded it.  Motion passed.  Jaxon Miller then moved that we have 4-H Club Day at South Barber High School.  Sterling Rector seconded it.  Motion passed.  Lastly, we decided to move our February meeting to March 1, 2021.  The time and location are to be determined.  Hudson Rector moved, Sterling Rector seconded.  Motion passed.

To wrap up the meeting, President Keaton Wiske read the announcements.  He then asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Belle Burden moved, Jaxon Miller seconded it.  Motion passed, meeting adjourned.
