Fair Details

Junior Superintendents for Fair

See the List of Junior Superintendents.  These are alos in the Fair Book.

Fair Clean Up Schedule

These assignments rotate each year.  Check to see what your club is responsible for in 2021.

Theme Classes for 4-H and Open Class

With the theme Celebrating Traditions, many theme classes were selected to draw on past fairs.  4-H Foods might be interesting because a biscuit recipe will be supplied and members must use that recipe to enter in that class.   4-H Alumni from the 1960s and 1970s have mentioned this type of contest when they were in 4-H.  Maybe you want to give these biscuits a try for a fun entry.

Midwest Photography Contest

You can enter a national event from your own backyard!  See the details on this page.  It is open to all 4-H youth, not just members in the photography project.  (Remember, if you are trying for the higher achievement levels a multi-state/national event could benefit you.)

Livestock Judging Team

We will be resuming Livestock Judging Team practices this Summer.

YQCA Class Success

YQCA is a requirement to exhibit livestock at the Kansas State Fair and Kansas Junior Livestock Show and youth must be re-certified annually.

May 4-H Council Minutes

The Council Minutes for May.  These were also sent to the council representatives.

State Fair Changes

The Schedule in 4-H Centennial Hall has changed.  Please check to see the details, but this means all State Fair Entries must in the Extension Office on TUESDAY, not THURSDAY.

Day Camp

A fun time was had by all at the Kingman, Pratt and Barber Day Camp.  Check out some of the fun photos!

48 Hours of 4-H

Start making plans now for your club to participate in 48 Hours of 4-H in October.
